Accessibility Statement
Our approach to making Yamamoto Travel’s website and travel services easier to access and use.
Last updated August 16, 2026
Our Approach
Yamamoto Travel aims to make its website and travel services usable by as many people as reasonably possible. Accessibility is reviewed as the website and services change.
Website Accessibility
The website uses semantic headings, skip links, visible keyboard focus, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, labeled forms, status and error messages, and accessible names for key controls. Meaningful images generally have alternative text.
Standards and Known Limitations
Yamamoto Travel uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as guidance but does not claim formal conformance or certification.
Interactive maps can be difficult with some assistive technology. Bókun booking, Trustindex reviews, and Stripe or PayPal payment pages are operated by third parties and are not fully controlled by Yamamoto Travel. Contact us if one of these features creates a barrier.
Tours and Physical Accessibility
Accessibility varies by location. Private tours can often be adjusted in pace, route, stops, transport, or walking time where practical. Some destinations have steps, slopes, uneven streets, gravel, forest trails, or limited accessible infrastructure. Vehicle type and accessible transport must be confirmed before booking.
Kyoto Mountain Exploration
Kyoto Mountain Exploration uses private transportation for much of the day. Accessibility varies by stop, but the pace and itinerary can be adjusted where practical. Contact Yamamoto Travel before booking to discuss mobility requirements.
Nara Nature and Primeval Forest Experience
The Nara nature experience can be suitable for seniors depending on mobility, and much of the day uses private transportation. Reaching the waterfall requires a short hike on natural forest terrain, and the waterfall and forest portion is not wheelchair accessible. Other parts of the Nara itinerary may be adjusted depending on the guest’s needs and local conditions.
Requesting Support or Reporting a Barrier
Before booking, tell us about practical needs such as comfortable walking distance, steps, uneven ground, rest breaks, mobility-aid use, or vehicle access. You may also report a website barrier or request information in another reasonably available format. Medical records are not required.
