Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when using Yamamoto Travel’s website, tours, planning services, and related travel services.

Last updated August 16, 2026

01

Scope and Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions apply to 合同会社 Yamamoto Travel and its website, private tours, planning, custom itineraries, consultations, and related travel support. They also apply to digital products if those products are offered.

By booking or using a service, you agree to these Terms and any service-specific conditions shown before confirmation. If those conditions conflict with these general Terms, the service-specific conditions govern that booking to the extent of the conflict.

02

Bookings and Customer Responsibilities

An inquiry, proposed itinerary, quotation, or booking request does not confirm availability. A booking is confirmed only through the payment and confirmation process communicated for that service.

You must provide accurate information and review the service, date, group size, price, inclusions, exclusions, and meeting or pickup details before confirmation. A person booking for a group must be authorized to provide the required information and share the relevant terms with the other travelers.

03

Prices, Payments, Changes, and Cancellations

Prices and payment requirements are explained in the Payment Policy. Customer-requested changes are subject to availability and may affect the price or service. Tours may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour. For private-vehicle bookings, the vehicle component may be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before the tour. Details are explained in Cancellation & Refunds and in any conditions presented before booking.

04

Tours and Experiences

Published itineraries describe the planned experience. Timing, order, routes, stops, and activities may change because of the group’s pace, traffic, weather, crowds, closures, safety, or local conditions. Tour durations are approximate unless the confirmation states otherwise.

Private tours may be adjusted where practical, but every requested or advertised stop cannot be guaranteed in all conditions.

05

Outdoor Experiences and Accessibility

Mountain, forest, coastal, and other outdoor experiences may involve uneven ground, steps, trails, slippery surfaces, weather exposure, and natural hazards. Follow reasonable safety instructions and tell us about relevant mobility or accessibility needs before booking. We can adjust some itineraries where practical, but not every location is suitable for every guest. See the Accessibility Statement.

06

Transportation

Vehicle type depends on the service, group size, itinerary, and availability. Travel and arrival times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or transport disruption. Allow sufficient time for flights, trains, and other time-sensitive arrangements.

07

Travel Planning and Custom Itineraries

Planning services may include consultation, research, recommendations, itinerary design, and travel support. Prices, schedules, opening hours, entry requirements, and availability can change. Unless specifically confirmed as part of Yamamoto Travel’s service, third-party hotels, transport, attractions, restaurants, and activities remain independent services that customers should review before purchase.

08

Third-Party Services

Independent booking platforms, payment processors, drivers, transportation operators, venues, restaurants, and activity providers may have their own terms, prices, availability, safety requirements, and cancellation rules. Yamamoto Travel remains responsible for its own services and obligations under applicable law, but does not control an independent provider’s acts or omissions.

09

Customer Conduct and Safety

Illegal or dangerous conduct, harassment, intentional damage, and repeated refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions are not permitted. Yamamoto Travel may stop a service when reasonably necessary to protect people or property. Any refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable booking terms.

Personal photography is subject to venue rules and the privacy of others. Yamamoto Travel will seek separate permission before using an identifiable customer image for marketing.

10

Events Outside Reasonable Control

Severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, closures, government restrictions, emergencies, or similar events may require a service to be adjusted, rescheduled, substituted, or cancelled. The available remedy depends on the circumstances, recoverable third-party costs, booking terms, and applicable law.

11

Digital Products

If self-guided or downloadable products are offered, the purchaser may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. They may not be resold, publicly redistributed, or commercially reproduced without permission. Time-sensitive travel details should be checked before use.

12

Intellectual Property and Website Information

Yamamoto Travel’s original text, photographs, branding, itineraries, guides, and owned map content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Website information may change or occasionally contain errors. Confirmed booking details take precedence over general website copy for that booking.

13

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yamamoto Travel is not responsible for loss caused solely by independent third parties, customer decisions, or events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility for Yamamoto Travel’s own breach or conduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14

Privacy and Communications

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Yamamoto Travel may send communications needed to answer an inquiry, manage a booking or payment, coordinate a service, or provide safety information. Marketing messages are separate and require an appropriate basis.

15

Changes, Governing Law, and Disputes

Yamamoto Travel may update these Terms for future use. An update does not replace the terms already agreed for a confirmed booking unless a change is agreed or required by law.

These Terms are governed by Japanese law, subject to mandatory consumer protections. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute directly. Unresolved disputes will be handled by a court or other body with jurisdiction under applicable law.
